Here’s mom’s homemade spaghetti recipe:
2 lbs ground meat
1 big onion
1 bell pepper
2 29 oz cans tomato sauce
2 packets spaghetti seasoning
Brown ground meat and remove excess fat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper and cook about 30 more minutes (adding water when needed to deglaze the bottom of pan (about 1/4 cup water). Add in tomato sauce; once it starts to bubble up turn down the heat to simmer. Add in seasoning packets and simmer for 1/2 hour.
